Dear Friends,
At this spring time of year we are reminded of the many blessings and privileges
we enjoy, a beautiful home and more food than we can eat on
our table. We also become increasingly aware of those less fortunate than ourselves.
The HOA Hospitality Committee and Ancala Country Club
invite you to join us in support of “A New Leaf ”in conjunction with the Ladies
Luncheon and Style Show. This charitable organization is dedicated to helping
families who have been victimized by domestic violence and homelessness. In
addition to offering essential community resources, ‘A New Leaf ‘provides
emergency shelter to thousands of women and children who arrive at the facility
with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.
The smallest items, things we all take for granted in our daily lives, can make a
powerful impact on these individuals as they attempt to start over and regain
their independence in a safe environment. Attached to this letter you will find a
suggested list of items that are the most needed by families. We welcome anything
you would like to bring along, or if you prefer, a check or cash donation
can be given and used by the social workers to purchase individual family
items. Our goal is to receive a donation from each Ladies luncheon attendee,
however big or small, as we help these families turn “A New Leaf”
