Golf Course Highlights
The Membership at Ancala Country Club enjoys a  challenging desert target-style golf course layout offering five sets of tees along with optional combination tees. The golf course can be long or short and playable for golfers of any level.

At nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, this course will test your length, precision, and shot-making ability. Desert ravines crisscross the beautifully manicured fairways and a lake runs the length of two holes. Strategically placed bunkers frame most landing areas, including the greens, which are well known for their speed and undulation.

Hole 6 / Par 4
The 6th hole at Ancala is an uphill par 4 with fantastic views of the McDowell Mountains. The Dye design incorporates dramatic mounding on the right side of the landing area to protect errant tee shots from going into the natural wash. A long bunker protects the left side of the fairway and another protects the left side of the green. A good drive here will leave you with a mid to short iron into this undulating green. Beware of the false front as balls not carrying the slope will come back off the front of the green.

Professional Tees: 356 yards
Championship Tees: 312 yards
Back Tees: 296 yards
Middle Tees: 270 yards
Forward Tees: 227 yards

Hole 15 / Par 4
Looking at the scorecard one thinks that hole #15 is a sure birdie hole. While this hole can be driven by extremely long hitters, it will make you pay if your drive is not in the correct position. Favor the right side of the fairway to leave yourself with the best angle to the green. Avoid the bunker that is approximately 30 yards short of the green on the right side of the landing area. Avoid the pot bunker protecting the left side of the green.

Professional Tees: 310 yards
Championship Tees: 280 yards
Back Tees: 266 yards
Middle Tees: 226 yards
Forward Tees: 175 yards

Hole 18 / Par 4
The 18th hole at Ancala provides a wonderful finish to your round. Measuring 453 yards from the professional tees, this par 4 displays everything a great design has to offer. A well-positioned drive needs to avoid the bunker protecting the left side of the hole while also staying clear of both the waist bunker and water to the right of the hole. The waste bunker does protect errant shots from going into the water but it will provide you with a challenging approach to the green. Make sure to check the pin position as the 18th green is one of the largest and most undulating on the course. Walk away with a four on the card here and you've done extremely well.

Professional Tees: 453 yards
Championship Tees: 439 yards
Middle Tees: 355 yards
Back Tees: 392 yards
Forward Tees: 279 yards
